By purchasing artwork or commissioning custom artwork from Maryanne Chisholm Fine Art, you agree to the following terms.

Original Artwork

All artwork is handmade and may contain natural variations in color, texture, brushwork, gold leaf, and other materials. Colors may also appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.

Custom Portraits & Commissions

Custom artwork is created specifically for each client. Portrait commissions may require up to 8 weeks for completion after the order and necessary reference materials are received. Shipping time is additional.

Payments & Deposits

Payment terms for commissions will be stated at the time of purchase or agreement. When a deposit is required, the remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed terms and before the completed artwork is released or shipped.

Returns & Refunds

All sales are final. Returns and exchanges are not accepted. Payments and deposits for portraits, commissions, and other custom artwork are non-refundable.

Shipping

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Shipping and delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Maryanne Chisholm Fine Art is not responsible for carrier delays or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.

If artwork arrives damaged, please contact me promptly and provide photographs of the artwork and packaging so I can assist with the appropriate shipping claim.

Copyright & Reproduction

Purchasing an original artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, all copyrights and reproduction rights remain with Maryanne Chisholm.

Artwork and images may not be copied, reproduced, commercially used, altered for resale, or distributed without written permission.

Commissioned Artwork

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Maryanne Chisholm retains the right to photograph commissioned artwork and use images of the completed work for portfolios, websites, social media, exhibitions, advertising, and other promotional purposes.

Website Information

I make reasonable efforts to ensure descriptions, dimensions, prices, and other information are accurate. Errors may occasionally occur and may be corrected when discovered.
